Ka'ena II: The nature reserve.
[[ Part II of III ]]
I loaded up the 1st part of Ka'ena with info about this place so click here to check it out!
At the end of the trail coming from either Waia'anae or Mokule'ia you'll come to the nature reserve, adopted in 1983, which is enclosed by a giant fence protecting the native vegetation and nesting birds from mongoose, and other assholes. There's signage along the pathway relaying information about the different species that live there.
